Sorrento: A Coastal Escape

Here is my new blog that will help you plan your trip to the Amalfi Coast. I stayed at the Hilton Sorrento Palace, and it was an incredible choice. From my balcony and the restaurant, I could admire the majestic Mount Vesuvius, which dominates the Bay of Naples. The hotel’s infinity pool, elegant décor, and proximity to the historic center made it an ideal base for my adventure.

Where WE Ate in Lemon Gardens

Dining under lemon trees was one of my favorite experiences! Here are the best spots I visited:

  • L’Antica Trattoria – A romantic restaurant known for refined Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Giardini di Cataldo – Not only a great limoncello producer but also a perfect spot for a fresh lemon granita or a light meal.

Local Drinks I Tried

  • Limoncello – The signature Sorrentine lemon liqueur, best enjoyed chilled.
  • Granita al Limone – A refreshing frozen lemon drink, perfect on a hot day.
  • Nocino – A walnut liqueur, typical of the region.
  • Aperol Spritz – The classic Italian aperitif, perfect for sunset drinks by the sea.
  • Lacryma Christi Wine – A famous local wine from the slopes of Vesuvius.
